My Favorite Christmas Movies

Christmas is the best time of the year to sit down wrap yourself in blanket with hot chocolate and watch a movie.

Elf

I mean who doesn't like the movie elf around Christmas. It's hilarious and super cute. I would say this is one the best movies Will Ferrell is in. My favorite line from this movie is "Hello this is Buddy the elf what's your favorite color." 


The Santa Clause Movies

I'm talking about the ones with Tim Allen in them. They funny and just brighten up my mood right away.  Tim Allen is funny and has to be Santa Clause with the help of his son Charlie.


Home Alone

I think everyone has seen these movies and likes them. It's about a kid that is left at home on the holidays and eats whatever he wants and does whatever he wants.

Christmas To Do List

  So many things to do leading up to christmas that I made a list of things I need to get done before Christmas. Christmas is such a busy and fun time of the year where I spend time with family and friends. Of course there's a lot of hard work that goes into it too.

What do you have to get done before Christmas?

Winter Essentials

Winter a love and hate relationship. Winter is great for hot Lush bath but it's so cold outside. With winter you're going to need a couple of things  to get you through the cold months ahead.

Lotion

Lotion is a must when it comes to winter! I really love the Righteous body butter from Soap&Glory it's so moisturizing and leaves my skin smelling and feeling great. Also another favorite it Soap&Glory hand food it smells just like the body butter. It leaves you hands silky smooth and hydrated. 

Moisturizer 

I love the Clinique moisture surge mask it's super hydrating and leaves your skin soft and looking healthy.

Lipbalm

Chapped lips no more. In the winter you need to protect your lips and keep them from getting dry. I like the Nivea lipbutters they are hydrating and smells yummy.

Red Lipstick

How can I forget red lipstick it just puts me in a holiday Christmas mood. I  absolutely been loving the Kate Moss lipstick in 107. It's so overrated but such a perfect color for winter.

Yes you read it right I'm doing Blogmas again! Woot Woot! I'm so excited I'm going to post every other day. I really loved doing Blogmas last year it was so fun. Trying Some New Products!

As a blogger I try a lot of new products some I love and some not so much. I found these products and wanted to give them a go and I'm glad I did.

Olay Strawberry and Mint Body Wash

I literally love the smell of this body wash. It smells sweet but refreshing with the mint. It's a pretty light milk color and lathers really well. The scent lasts a while but after a while can get annoying. 

Nyx Matte Lipstick In Aria

I have really been loving purple lipstick and I think it's perfect for winter and fall. It a deep purple but still looks good for everyday.

Ogx Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner

I have heard so many people love this conditioner so I had to give it a try. I'm not a huge fan of coconut but I love the smell of this conditioner it's smells and not overpowering at all. It gets knots out of my hair and leaves it soft all day long.

My Favorite Skin Moisturizers

With the cold months approaching my skin has been getting dry and flaky. Not pretty I know. With sensitive skin I have to be careful with what I put on my skin. I have used the Clinique lotion for years and recently discovered with Clinique moisture surge overnight mask. With these amazing moisturizer my skin looks healthy and hydrated. 

The Clinique lotion is super thin but packed with moisture and hydration that leaves skin feeling great. When you first apply it is a little bit greasy but quickly goes away and you're left with smooth skin.

The Clinique moisture surge overnight mask makes your skin silky smooth and hydrated. It says it's a mask but you don't even have to wash it off.  Both of these mousire and super easy and quick to use to get beautiful looking skin.

Having Anxiety Attacks Almost Everyday

Since my post about anxiety attack is one of the most popular posts on my blog. I thought I would do another one. My anxiety attacks are almost everyday and are always the worse. I thought of some tips to use that have really helped me when I am having an anxiety attack.

Deep Breathing

This is huge deep breathing slows down your heart rate and calms you down. It sounds stupid but from experience it really does work.

Distracted Yourself

Turn on the TV, play a game, go for a run just do something so you're not obsessing over what the anxiety attack is about.

Talk To Someone

Things are not going to get better if you don't talk about. Keeping it all bottled up and not telling someone that you're having a hard day is not helping anyone. You're just bound to have a breakdown.


These are only a few ways to get through your anxiety attacks and have them be manageable.

Fall Lips

Fall is here and it's a great excuse to wear lipstick especially those bold red lips. I have been wearing a lot of lipstick this fall and trying some out for the first time. All of the lipsticks in this post are new and have only been used a couple times. I love them and I think there prefect for fall.

Kate Moss Lipstick In 107

I know this lipstick is super popular and everyone seems to love it. It is a an amazing dark red that you don't need a lip liner for it like some red lipsticks. The staying power is great and lasts a long time. Perfect red lipstick for when you're feeling bold.

Essence Lipstick In Wearing Berries

I have been really into berry lipsticks lately and the name of this lipstick catch my eye. The color is a beautiful bright purplish berry shade that looks amazing. It reminds me out a berry smoothie and goes on matte or glossy if you add chapstick before.

Clinique Lipstick In Matte Beauty

Can't forget about a nude lipstick for this fall. If you want to keep it simple but still add a little bit of color to your lips. This lipstick is a bit of the pinker side and adds a little peachy look to your lips. It is super matte hints the name but doesn't dry out your lips like some matte lipsticks do.

Happy Halloween!! I found so many products that I have fallen in love with this month and even a couple of shows.

Kate Moss Lipstick In 107

This lipstick is perfect for fall. I'm sucker for red lipstick and this has been on my list for years so I finally got it. I know this lipstick is super popular and every seems to love it. I can see why it goes on matte and doesn't bleed like some red lipsticks do. Definitely a staple lipstick for fall.

Essence Lipstick In Wearing Berries

I finally got a essence lipstick and I'm so glad I did it's amazing. You can wear it either way matte or glossy and it doesn't dry out your lips. Perfect berry lipstick for fall.

Tarte Lights Camera Lashes  Mascara

This mascara makes my lashes so long and full. It makes them look natural without clumping and looks great. I have been pairing this with my Benefit mascara which makes your lashes look full and a little bit thicker.  

Soap&Glory Hand Food

I can say so many great things about this hand lotion. The smell is exactly like the Soap&Glory Righteous body butter. It makes your hands so soft and hydrates really like it for the winter month ahead.

IZombie

This is a show that I recently found and I am obsessed with it. It's about this girl that turns into a zombie and works in morgue. She eats brains and solves crimes.

Jane The Virgin

Watch the first season on Netflix and I'm obsessed with this show too. It's about a girl that get pregnant and her own life changes.

A Pamper Evening

After a long week I just want to fall on the couch and relax. On the weekends I like the pamper myself a little bit after a long hard week of school and blogging. Having these pamper session really boost me from the week ahead and give my tons of energy to start the week off right.

What's On My Face Everyday Makeup

I have changed up my makeup look many times throughout the years but have a came up with one I really like. It's very natural but you can still add a bold lip to top it off.

What I Use:

Clinique Palette- Was limited editon in gift.

Elf mineral Primer- $2 (What a steal!)

Tarte Lights Camera Flashes Mascara- $21

NYX HD Concealer in pale- $6.99

Elf eyebrow kit in medium- $3

A eyeshadow brush- Don't remember but you can get one from Elf for $1.

Total: $32.99

First I do my eyebrows and put on concealer. Then apply my eyeshadow primer then the eyeshadow the colors I use it this palette are the copper all over my lid and the brown in the crease. Finally I apply my mascara and maybe some lipstick. This makeup look lasts all day and looks great for any event.

Homemade Applesauce Recipe

Fall is here and I love hot applesauce on those cold nights. So here's a recipe to stay warm.

What you will need:

-8 pounds of apples

- 2 cups of water 

-As much cinnamon as you like

-3/4 quarters sugar

Instructions

1. Peel the skin off the apples and chop them up.

2. Pour water into a pot with the apples. Pour cinnamon and sugar on top.

3. Wait till apple start to break down. Then mashes them up to the consistency you want.

3 simple steps to follow and you makes delicious apple sauce. Enjoy!

Lush Holiday Wishlist

I love when Lush comes out with their holiday items. It's the best thing of the year. I created a wishlist of things that I want to pick up and somethings I try this year. It's really long I have a obsessed with Lush.

Rose Jam Shower Gel

I loved this shower gel last year. It smells exactly like roses and strawberry jam. Unfortunately they're not bringing back the So White Shower gel so I'm going to stock up on this one instead.

So White Bath Bomb

Of course I'm going to get the bath bomb of the So White fragrances because if I can't have the shower gel then I'm going to have the get the bath bomb. 

Cinders Bath Bomb

I got this bath bomb last year and I loved it! It was a strong spice smell that left the water looking like something from The Hunger Games.

Snow Angel Bath Melt

I also got this last year and fell in love. It smells like the butterball bath bomb but better. Also it makes your bath water super sparkly which how can you beat that.


Candy Mountain Bath Melt

This bath melt has had a lot of hype and I thought I would give it a try.

This is something new that they came out with and it's supposed to smell like cinnamon.

Are We On Our Phones Too Much?

The answer is probably yes but I love my phone. We spend pretty much half the day on the phone looking at the cute puppy pictures on Instagram. Tweet our favorite YouTubers hoping they will notice us. I'm guilty of all of theses. I love my phone way too much to be a second part. Which is kind of sad and scary. If you asked me I would say I'm addicted to my phone. I'm on it 24 hours and need it next to me.

Being on the phone is ok but being on it all the time not looking at what's around you is not. Have you ever stopped and looked at nature instead on trying to get a Instagram worthy shot of it. Ask yourself this am I on my phone for more than 5 hours a day? If you are you're probably addicted to your phone like me.

Put down the phone and stop and look at the beautiful nature around you. Even start a conversation with someone. You might be surprised you might make a friend. Your phone isn't something you need to have with you all the time. Try a day without it and see that you don't need your phone.

Websites I Played As A Kid

Ever think back to what games you played on the computer when you were little? How embarrassing if you really think of it. Like I really played that? I thought I would go back to when I was little and share some of the websites I played as a kid.

Club Penguin

This was probably one of my favorite games to play on the internet. You were a penguin and you waddle around talking to friends. Of course I needed to be a member on this website so I could buy all the little clothes and accessories for my penguin. Also you lived in an igloo which you could decorate and have parties. One of my favorite websites to play on when I was a kid.

Webkinz

You bought these stuffy toys and add the codes on the websites which gave you that character. You got to take care of your animals and dress them up. You would decorate your house and play games that would give you money to buy more.

Millsberry

I found this website off a cereal box. You had a person that you had to feed and dress. You had a house that you could decorate. This website was soon discounted after a few years which was annoying because it actually was a fun game.

Stardoll

This website is was all about fashion and beauty which was how I really got into it. You could design your own clothes and buy clothes from well known stores that actually existed. You had a doll which was your character in the game that you could dress up and do their makeup alose decorate their suite. I still check on my doll once in awhile because their no real age to stop playing this game. But I don't really do anything on there because it not really for me anymore.

5 Beauty Confessions

A post filled with my a few of my beauty confessions. 

1. Wearing my makeup to bed. I know everyone does this once or twice but I do it almost every night. Which is so gross but I am so lazy when it comes to taking my makeup off at night. I'm so tired and don't want to deal with the routine of taking it off.

2. Not using lip liners. I know you're supposed to use lip liners when putting on lipstick but I don't. It's just one other step that I don't have time for and I just like to slap on my lipstick and go.


3. Peeling off my nail polish. Who has time to get out nail polish remover when you can just peel it all off.


4. Cleaning Brushing? You're supposed to clean them? Oh.


5. I don't own any MAC lipsticks and probably never will.

So Not Ready For College

Don't know what you want to do? Don't worry you're not alone. Going to college is exciting time and also a time where it seems like every has it figured out. You're left with the question what am I doing?  Here are something things to remember when going to college and haven't no idea what you're going to major in.

Some people are not ready

It may seem like everyone got there stuff together but in reality were all freaking out a little. No one wants to go to school and go to class everyday it's like high school all over again. But it's like high school people still don't know who they are and their trying to figure out.

Not knowing what you're going to do with the rest of your life is ok.

Lots of people say you need to have a plan. You have to know what you're going to do. Actually it ok to start with the basic classes first and maybe take somethings you're interested in too. You have your whole life ahead of you why rush into something your not going to like in a year.

Step back

Step back and think about what you like. Think what courses did I take that I liked. Start from there and think about is it something I see myself doing? Will I be happy?

Keep theses in mind and take your time with what you want to do. There's no point in throwing yourself into classes that you will hate in a couple years. Go for a major that makes you happy and you can see yourself doing forever.

Fall is just around the corner (literally like a day away) I really sad to see summer go but there are so many things to look forward to in the fall.

St Ives Oatmeal Scrub and Mask

I finished another one of these and I love it. Leaves your skin so soft and hydrated. Great at getting dry skin off.

Would I repurchase? 

Yes but I have a face wash to get through.

Lush Celebrate Lotion

I hated the smell of this lotion! It was way too citrusy for me made me want to throw up everytime I smelled it. It was moisturizing but definitely not worth it because of the smell.

Would I repurchase?

No!!

Lush Rockstar Soap Sample

This was one of the samples I got when I ordered from Lush and I really liked it. It smelled like candy and super sweet. It lathered up really well but left that dry feeling on my hands that I absolutely hate.

Would I repurchase?

Maybe not any time soon though.

Keratin Protein Conditioner

This was a sample and I actually really liked it. It makes your hair so soft and has a pleasant smell.

Would you repurchase?

Probably not because I love my clear shampoo and conditioner. But definitely worth checking out.

Purity Face Cleanser

Loved the smell in the store it smelled like lemons. Then I tried it and I hated it!  It smells like pepper and spices. Which was so gross and something that I didn't want to put on my face. So I used it to clean my feet.

Would I repurchase?

Nope!

Lush So White Shower Gel

So sad to see this go it's my last one till Christmas when it comes out again. Which I can't wait for I will buy this again and again.
